Flat feet (fallen arches) are feet which have a low arch profile or no arch at all. Many painful conditions in the feet or legs can arise from this mechanical change. Sometimes, just changing the footwear can help to relieve painful symptoms but often orthotics (insoles) are needed to correct this foot type.

Trauma, infection, illness, chemicals and medication can all affect the appearance of our toenails. Where a fungal infection is involved the toenail can be treated with a topical lacquer to eradicate the infection. Thickened nails can be managed by reducing the toenail to a normal level.

Corns and calluses are a result of repetitive intermittent pressure on the foot, which can occur from poorly fitting footwear or as a result of how you walk. Unless addressed, corns and callus have a tendency to reoccur and commonly require ongoing routine care. We can debride corn and callus, as well as providing you with advice on how to prevent and minimise re-occurrence.

  • Bio-mechanical assessment (60 minutes) £90

Plantar Fasciitis is a repetitive strain injury to the connective tissue (fascia) at the bottom of the foot, which is often long lasting and very painful. It classically manifests itself as pain first thing getting out of bed in the morning, but eases somewhat when walking. Pain may reoccur again later in the day when the feet get tired. It can be confused with other conditions and a painful heel should always be seen to by a podiatrist to ensure a correct diagnosis is made.

Onyfix-Nail-Correction.jpg

Onyfix Nail Correction

  • Treatment - £45 per band (plus appointment cost)

Onyfix Nail Correction System is an innovative, pain-free treatment which uses a flexible, medical-grade band to gently guide ingrowing or curved toenails back into a natural shape.

The process involves applying a composite band to the widest part of the nail, and as the nail grows, the band gently guides it into a healthier, more nature position. Many patients experience immediate relief.
